The Roy B Golf Tournament Logo

The Roy B. Golf classic was established to commemorate the passing of Roy B. Nygren, a loving grandfather figure and committed golf fanatic. Roy was a Swede and a gentleman and his love for the game was surpassed only by his love for his family. 

I was approached with a need for a timeless tournament logo to represent this special annual family event. 

Roy was a handsome, quiet man with a keen, disarming wit. So the design features a stately signature, playfully topped with a Swedish crown.  It adorns trophies, t-shirts and the winner's sport coat that changes hands from winner to winner each year.
