The NPS Law Logo design was a challenge because it involved balancing an unusually long string of names. The logo they had been using was simply a horizontal list of names which was practical but an uninspired solution. Reading the names was tedious.
When I was contacted by NPS Law, they were preparing to court some design-savvy clients. They knew they needed to give their visual identity some legitimacy. My solution was to create a lockup that would generate an artful impression at a glance. The staggered names balance playfully around the blue icon in a satisfying way. The new design is alive with an asymmetric layout, emitting warmth with its close and careful kerning.
